This Common Kestrel likes to feed on lizards in Europa Foreshore, in Gibraltar. Here he is using the vantage point offered by the fortifications.

Common Kestrel (Canon R5, RF 800mm f/11 IS STM)

This photograph of the moon was taken hand-held, with a 800mm lens and a x2 converter (giving a total focal length of 1600mm). The shutter speed was a mere 1/200 seconds. I think this really illustrates how far both in-camera, and in-lens image stabilisation has come!
